Biography
I got into strongman from growing up on a farm so it’s my old chores for fun, but also from watching worlds strongest man after boxing with my grandpa.  I have been competing in strongman since 2018.

My biggest accomplishment in my sport would definitely being the first ever indigenous person to become a professional strongman in Canada, and even be the first to ever compete at Canada's Strongest Man. I look forward to making even more history for my people.

I train in my local small town gym Optimal Wellness, in St. Paul, and United Strength on weekends. My coach is JF Caron the best strongman in Canadian history.

I am from Ashmont, Alberta located in treaty six territory, Canada. Outside of strongman competitions and training I enjoy spending most of my time with my kids doing what they like which is usually swimming , trampoline parks, kid stuff! I absolutely love being a dad. I’m a carpenter and run my own business doing renovations and new construction.

What is your favourite lifting memory?
FaceTiming my grandpa (my dad essentially) after receiving my professional status at nationals. Another one would be competing in Iceland and breaking a 25 year old world record for the Husafell Stone carry.

What is one piece of advice you have for up and coming athletes getting into strength training or strength sport?
The biggest piece of advice I can give is make sure it’s fun, we’re all in it for the long haul so you might as well make it fun on the ride! You control your surroundings so make your lifting space what you want so it’s fun for you!  This is a marathon not a sprint enjoy the ride.

What is your favourite lift or event?
I love husafell carry’s, and stone loading.

What is your favourite product and why?
13mm Belt
Hands down the best belt invented and available.

What 3 other items are your go to and why?
Knee Sleeves
Stiff Medium Wrist Wraps
Lifting Straps
The knee sleeves provide enough support for squats and static lifts, but also versatile enough for moving events and stones The stiffer wrist wraps really lock in my position for any pressing movement from log to circus dumbbell.  The lifting straps are the best and most durable straps I’ve owned, and they don’t dig into my wrists.

What colourway is your favourite and why?
Momentum
Black and white always looks sleek.

Why do you believe SBD is the gear all athletes should use?
It’s the best in the business, most innovative, consistent quality, supports the sports and athletes.

Why do you believe in working with SBD Canada as a Sponsored Athlete?
SBD Canada has the best equipment and treats athletes well and supports strength sports, you cant ask for anything more.
